Dr. Alain Krapl

Dr. Alain Krapl is Head Knowledge Exchange and Education at the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a PhD in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Before pursuing a career in academia, Alain Krapl acquired practical banking experience at Merrill Lynch and Wachovia Bank. As Professor of Finance and Director of the International Business Program at Northern Kentucky University, Alain was active in research, taught a broad range of finance courses, and chaired several committees. The focal point of Alain Krapl's published research is international corporate finance.
