My research focuses on venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial finance, with an emphasis on applied machine learning. I study the functioning of alternative markets and startup financing mechanisms such as private secondary markets and crowdfunding platforms, as well as the sources of skill and performance among venture capital investors and investment strategies in private markets.
