Motivationsschreiben
My research studies how firms decide which investment opportunities to pursue and which to abandon. I examine how regulatory constraints and financial conditions shape these decisions, with a particular focus on energy markets and the energy transition. Thus, my work seeks to understand how frictions in the investment process shape the pace and composition of capital formation.
